Orphanage visit: Understand and extend support to infants and children
A Little Kindness, A Lifetime of Impact.
❤️❤️

On 13 March 2025, our Saving Lives volunteer team travelled from Singapore to the National Center for Infants and Children in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, bringing love, compassion, and much-needed support to the children there.
We donated rice and staple food supplies, while kind-hearted locals also pitched in with their own contributions. Though we came from different places, we shared one common goal — to bring a bit of warmth and hope to these children.
Local News
This orphanage houses many children with physical and intellectual disabilities. Some were abandoned at birth, left by the roadside. Many of them require lifelong care and support.
The caregivers at the orphanage are doing their best, day and night, to look after the children. Their dedication keeps this place running, giving these vulnerable kids a safe and loving home despite the daily challenges.
At Saving Lives, we believe charity is not just about donations — it's about showing up, listening, understanding, and being present.
This is just one of many outreach efforts we’ve done, but we hope this story can touch your heart and inspire trust in what we do.
Charitable Donation Event at Phneat Simpalee Temple, Phnom Penh
🏯🏯
On March 17, 2025, our volunteer team from Singapore Saving Lives, travelled to Phneat Simpalee Temple in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to deliver essential goods and warmth to 300 impoverished families from the Noun 3 District, Prek Pnov, Pursenchey, and Kombol areas.
These 300 families were carefully selected by the local village committees and Buddhist associations, representing the most disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. What we gave them was not just a bag of rice and basic necessities but a ray of hope.
This event was fully supported and sponsored by Saving Lives, in collaboration with the Cambodian Buddhist Association.
Chairman Goh Tung Heng emphasized that our donation event is inclusive and free from racial, political, or religious distinctions. As long as there are people in need, we will do our best to show up and bring them hope. This is the belief that Saving Lives has always adhered to—whether in Myanmar, Nepal, or now in Cambodia, we remain unwavering in our mission.

The event was particularly graced by the presence of Duke Oknha Keo Mom, Chairman of the International Exchange Committee of the Cambodian Buddhist Association. During the event, she encouraged the crowd to cherish their health, work hard in life, and look forward to building a more loving community together.
Distributed Supplies:
Each of the 300 impoverished families received the following aid:
• 20kg of rice
• Instant noodles
• Cooking oil
• Soy sauce
• Other items were donated by kind-hearted local individuals.
In addition to the volunteer team from Saving Lives, local officials from Snor County and several generous donors were also present at the event, participating in the donation and distribution process.
Charity Knows No Boundaries
During the event, the Venerable Monk Som Sokha, Chairman of the Cambodian Buddhist Association, also gave a speech on behalf of the Buddhist community, expressing gratitude to Saving Lives for extending a helping hand in times of difficulty. He said, "With everyone's care and contribution, these impoverished families now have a greater sense of hope."
At this moment, we felt the kindness of humanity and saw the boundaries of religion, culture, and nationality being dissolved in compassion.
